Do you think its mean to dress your pets for Halloween?

I have a kitten and a dog. For Halloween I was thinking of dressing my kitten as a dog and my dog as a kitten, but my friend told me this was considered at animal abuse, but I see Halloween costumes for pets at Pet stores? Is it Animal Abuse?

No it's not animal abuse. As long as you don't dress them up all the time it doesn't hurt. Dogs and cats aren't fashion statements. They don't need makeup, jewelry, their own clothing line, etc. People do go to the extreme and dress their pets up just like in the movies Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Legally Blonde.
They treat their animals as if they're kids, it's not abuse just spoiling them is all.

Hi,
My friend wants to dress up as a Dalmatian (as in dog) this year for halloween. She is a plus size and needs help finding one. It needs to be somewhere between 3x-4x. It could be online or in a store. If someone can please help us, that would be great. Thank you!

You should go to all the costumes stores you can find, or look up on the internet what they look like and make it. Even if you can't i am sure you know someone who is excellent at stuff like that. Maybe even offer to pay them a little money for the thing that they are doing for you

Does anyone have any ideas? pictures?

There's going to be a halloween festival in my city and they're having a parade of costumes and a .. for kids, adults, families, AND DOGS!!

My dog is my baby and I want her costume to be really good so ANY ideas are welcomed, thank you!! :)

where can i find an underdog halloween costume for my DOG?

This costum is for a DOG.. not a kid... any specific stores would be helpful. since my brothers are fire men i thought it would be a cool costume for my dog to have underdog (because it's a beagle) or some type of super hero to go with the kids.

There are costumes for dogs everywhere. Mostly pet stores around Halloween. Also at Halloween stores. They have a rack of them(a dog in jail, a Queen costume,and many more. Also the dollar store has the too. But, the angel costume was just a bow and a hallo. I suggest pet-smart but they can get a little costly. If your not willing to pay that much the dollar is an option.( you may just have to come up with something to add) I would shop around, I am sure you can come up with something. Plus, if your dog is as big as it will get you can use your costume over and over. Well, i hope this helps!!! Good luck!!!!! :)

Are you dressing up your dog for Halloween?

We have a Golden and this is her first Halloween. I am getting her a costume so she can go around with our 2 kids for trick or treat. She loves people and she enjoys doing what the kids are doing. There are so many fun costumes out there for dogs.
Miaugh: We'll be trick or treating at 5 pm, before it is dark. We'll just go down a few streets near home.

My Huskies "dress up" for Halloween every year! There are actually alot of houses in our neiughborhood that give them treats when we go trick-or-treating with the kids! Lol. They LOVE it! My female is Little Red Ridinh Hood this year, and my male is Paul Stanley from KISS. BUT- It's the only time they ever dress up. (They were Seahawks last year!)

I have 2 XXL wolf hybrid dogs and this Halloween i want to dress them up to match me with a theme!! The already look pretty scary but I need a theme to win the contest. But it has to be practicle because then we have to host a small group of kids all over town to trick or treat. The dogs pull the wagon loaded with kids so that might work into the theme!!!

I would check to see if your dog would like a costume or to pull the wagon before you do anything. That's the most important thing, really. The dogs need to be happy and LOVE what they are doing.

If your dogs are happy with costumes, may I suggest threstals from Harry Potter? They could have little black wings are little horns or stuff like that. Just a suggestion.
