Dog Halloween Costume Help!?

I have a 10 month old black lab/doberman mix (she is mostly black with brown markings on her nose and around her ankles) and she is around 50 pounds (very muscular with skinny legs). Anyway, I want to enter her into a Halloween Costume contest. Any ideas? I want to stick homemade so please don't send me links to websites!
You should know that my dog LOVES dressing up. Her tummy is really hairless and if she goes outside and its cold she shivers and whimpers... She loves her prep type sweaters, but I want something no one else will do or has thought of!

my wife and i need some help on halloween costumes. we want something very creative, (ie, no salt & pepper, nut and bolt, ketchup and mustard, wizard of oz characters, etc...) we don't want something that we can easily find online; (we'd rather make something.)

in the past we have gone as popeye and olive oyl, flinstones, old people, beetlejuice and lydia, football player and cheerleader, geek and supermodel, quail man and patty mayonaise...

again, we don't really want anything that other people will have. (nun and priest, popular movie characters, etc...) we wouldn't mind doing movie characters, but we'd rather it be less common.

also, we have a puppy that we would like to dress up, (doesn't need to be the same as us.) she is a lighter haired dog, so we considered getting washable, pet-safe hair dye and dying black spots on her to make her a dalmation. but not sure how safe that stuff is. any help there would be appreciated also.

Halloween Costume Ideas for 2 "Girls"?

My friends and I through a bit of trickery are going to be able to dress 2 different guys up at Halloween. They both were putting women down in a sociology class and we decided that this could be a great bit of payback. Neither one knows the other one will be doing this and they are both rather slight so we thought we'd give them a theme to make it even more fun. So far we're a bit stuck. We've come up with Britney and Cristina, Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton, the two girls from Abba, 80s Madonna and current Madonna, or the Olsen Twins. We like Nicole and Paris the best, but other than the dog we couldn't come up with actual costumes. Any ideas for that costume or easier to manage famous pairs?

I'm pretty sure it'd be much easier to just make it yourself. But if you're super sewing challenged like myself you could just cut holes in a hat like that for the ears and you're done.

Okay so for halloween me and my friend are being Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie! We are going to use large purses to put candy in and have stuffed dogs in the purses too. What is a unique halloween idea for my all-black german shepherd?

He's all black. No white. I was looking for some way to dye white spots on him? Im not sure if they even sell white dog dye. I will only use vegetable dyes, dyes made especially for dogs, or food coloring. This is a temporary idea for Halloween only

The only possibility I could see would actually be using paint.

There is no way to dye dark to light unless you bleach. Not dog safe.

I dressed my dog up like a biker. It was a last minute idea when my friend called me and told me her work was throwing a costume contest for dogs. Turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself, lol

a group of Me, my 2 best friends, and my twin brother want to find a unique and cute idea for the four of us for Halloween. I have blonde hair, and the rest are all brunettes. In the beginning, when it was going to be just my brother and I, our original plan was to be Pebbles, and Bam Bam from the Flintstones. But now that there is 4 of us, we need a new idea. My brother and I were a cat and a dog, last Halloween. Were looking for something cute, modern, funny, and nothing too intricate. If you could help me, i would GREATLY appreciate it. HELLLLP.

What are celebrity examples of Karma?

I need ideas for the theme of a costume party.. think really hard. We are supposed to dress up as something relating to Karma.. these are the only three off the top of my head but I want to be something unique.

1. Tiger woods cheating on his wife I would consider Karma because it effected his career.
2. Michael Vick.. his dog fights got him in the slammer.
3. Paris Hilton drug arrest.

Thinking about starting a small play?

im 10 and wondering how to start a small play with my dogs in it? how should i start off? How get or make the costumes? they plays name is Queen Of The Bones. its a reality show. im the host. and how can i build a small stage for the play or can i buy it? anything else will help! plz no rude answers!

Well, for the stage you could buy some science tri-fold display sets. Then, for costumes you could go to costumes.com or just get some from walmart. Also, make sure your dogs can sit and stay through the course of the show.

how to make this kind of dog house?

I just bought a snoopy costume and thought this would be a great addition. the only diff. would be maybe putting a motor inside and having maybe a small steering wheel hidden at the top there for me to steer it. how would i go about building it?

I don't know - maybe you could get plywood from Home Depot and ask them there? They might have some idea of how to assemble it. That's a tough order...sorry that's not much help but good luck.

Cute stingray costume or collar?

I have a dog named stinger, but his nickname is Stingray. I cant seem to find any collars with stingrays on them does anyone know where I can find one?

Also, for halloween I thought it would be cute to dress him up as a stingray, anyone know where I can find a costume? If not, any ideas on how to make my own? Thanks.

Also- he is a 70 lb dog and half the problem is half the places I've looked only sell small dog stuff.

Paris and Nicole Costume Help?

For Halloween, my friends and I are going to get to dress two guys up. They don't know this yet, but one is going to be Paris Hilton and the other Nicole Richie. They're small for guys and should turn out great. They also deserve some embarrassment and this should do it lol. The problem is how do we make them look like Paris and Nicole and not two generic girls. Any ideas especially with links are appreciated. Halloween will be here soon. Nicole is the one that has us most stumped because at least Paris can have a little stuffed dog.

For nicole you should do a vintage look. Her style is totally fun and vintage and cool. She is also wearing huge sunglasses always. There is a website called WhatCelebsWear that shows all the clothing that celebs wear. You can search by brand, celeb or article of clothing.
