Wow! What a wild party! All the dogs were dressed in costume & ready to play...there was a vampire poodle, a princess, even one dog dressed as a Christmas Elf! But my fav was the weenie dog costumes...especially little SuzieBell - she looked so cute, even though she was a long haired chihuahua, she still looked hot! She could barely keep her paws off me!! LOL
But then she got jealous when I tried to talk to the vampire poodle...hey, I was there to have a good time & maybe make some new friends...SuzyBell was fun to play with, but heck, I was too young for any commitments...
I gotta hand it to mom, although there were four dogs dressed up at hot dogs in a bun, I was the only one dressed as a tourist, whatever the heck that is. There was only one dog that showed up without a costume, a Great Dane named Butch...his human escort said they couldn't find one big enough for him...(lucky dog)
They even had a photographer there to take our pictures so our humans could further embarrass us by displaying them...what will these humans think of next?
But I gotta say, overall, I had a great time! It was nice to get out & socialize with other pups. We all got treat bags & had our own little costume parade. How cool is that?

Also, I'm open for ideas, since I know dressing up as "a dog" is a very broad topic. However, I would much rather not wear a mask.

Buy clothes you can glue onto, a cheap long sleeve shirt and pants or a sweatsuit. Cut out felt patches and fabric glue them on. Get a sweatband and glue felt ears onto the sides. Draw a face on with makeup. Make a tail out of felt maybe with some wire in between 2 pieces if you want it to stand out some or bend.

My 11 year old sis wants to go trick-or-treating with her friend. Her friend would be Dorothy and she would be The Wicked Witch Of The West and they would bring our pet dog as ToTo. Any ideas for the costume?

That's a Great costume and it sounds very cute! 
For Dorothy:
The Light Blue Plaid Dress
Her Hair Braided On Each Side With One Blue Bow On Each Side (the bows can be optional)
Knee High White Socks Or Blue (You Can roll them down or leave them the way they are)
A Picnic Basket (Make sure it's big enough for your pet to fit in or you can just walk the dog around, your decision)
and of course...The Ruby Slippers (red flats with added red glitter on it, or the actual ruby slipper, black flats could work)
For The Wicked Witch:
A Black Witch Hat
A Black Witch Dress
A Broomstick
Green Face Paint and if you want to, a wart
Hair Hair Normal, in a Pony-tail, Bun, or even a black wig
Black shoes (Flats, Boots, anything black will work)
Make is optional for these costumes (But it would look better though in my opinion)
You can find these things in a costume store or any other store close or around Halloween, around your house, and basically anywhere, It's all about your creativity and imagination

Matching costumes ideas...Monkey and...?
I just bought my baby a monkey costume for Halloween, and I want to dress up to match...I thought about dressing my 2 wiener dogs as bananas, then i thought maybe me and my husband could be bananas, or he could be the man with the yellow hat...I don't know...any suggestions? My friend's dressing her baby as a lion and she's going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz! I wish i had thought of that! I want something like that where our costumes are related...ANY IDEAS?

This is a hard one. A banana is the obvious answer, but to get more creative, you might have to tweak your baby's costume a little. The first thought that popped into my head, was to attach little wings to his monkey costume and then you could dress up as the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz, with her cute little flying monkey baby.
That might even be a cute idea if you're going with your friend. It could be a group costume! Your husband could be the scarecrow, tinman, or wizard. If you decide to go with this idea, you may want to ask your friend what she thinks about it first.
You could also be an organ grinder with your monkey. Or you could both be pirates with a pet monkey, like Geena Davis in the movie Cutthroat Island.

What are some cute costume ideas for my dog?
I have 2 boys. One is an America Pit Bull Terrier and the other is a Yorkie, Maltese, Standard Poddle mix. I already know what I'm dressing the APBT up as(he's going to be a Pit in Sheeps Clothing. I already have his costume) the problem is I don't know what to dress the Yorkie as. I was thinking a prisoner since he ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE CRATED at night. What are some other cute ideas?
FYI: For all the smart asses they are going trick or treat with the family and since everyone else is dressed up it's only fair that they too get dressed up. They're also going to be at the door when the trick or treaters come early in the night.
