Dog costumes for Halloween … suggestions?

We have a choc lab, doberman mix, he's 2 years old, super friendly and my 5 year old daughter wants to enter him in a Halloween costume contest for dogs. He's big, about 100 pounds, thin but muscular and he's dark brown. I have no idea what to do. She wanted to put him in a princess dress with rain boots! But my husband talked her out of it. Any suggestions would be great.

August 11, 2009 at 5:06 am: you could make you daughter and dog wear matching costumes…thats what im doing with mine my daughters going to be Patrick Star , and my Pit Bull is going to be SpongeBob….i think a matching costume would be cute… maybe like if she wants to be a princess make him a prince.

Andyman August 11, 2009 at 6:15 am: Well you can get her/him a Dog costume that is a Pumpkin costume or maybey that’s lame so get a ghost or something On Christmas my dog wore a Santa costume so be active and imagine the things you want for your dog and Thanks for the 2 points I owe you.
