Matching Costumes for Dogs and Human?

Its close to Halloween, and I want my Pom to match my costume. Is there a website or store that has them? Well, just so you know, my pom is a boy, and I'm a girl. And I dont want those crappy costumes, I want the really good ones. And dont worry about the price.

pawpaw August 5, 2009 at 7:13 am: What about the 7 lb Chi. Does she get to go trick or treating too? Be very careful of costume for dogs. They often restrict their movement and cause them to get hurt. I have seen dogs done up with those glow in the dark things you can hook together with a glow in the dark leash. It looked really cool in the dark. It wouldn’t be expensive and you could donate the money you save to the local pound. In fact, we should all trick or treat for our local shelters. You can find costumes on ebay.

? August 5, 2009 at 7:26 am: I don’t know where you would get the costumes, but I say go for it. As long as it’s fun for you and your dog, that’s what it’s all about. Don’t let these people talk you out of it. They probably keep their dog in the back yard and only go out there to put food out, if that much.

Just got my laptop so i don’t know too much about various websites. So i hope i can help by suggesting some costume ideas that you can make at home. This will be my first Halloween w/o my ‘Boxer Son’ Spencer in 11 yrs. Had to put him down this past Wed. Still have a Bichon Frise.
My Boxer & i would always match with little Bella somewhat matching. The dog costumes i would normally go to Petco for, More memorable "family" costumes are: a cowboy & two cowgirls, I was dressed in yellow sheet as mustard & they were a hot dog and hamburger,
the three stooges, the golden girls, clowns & superheroes. Have fun and don’t take any unwrapped bones when trick or treating!

My smallest will be Toto (lucky him, no costume), orange brindle will be the scarecrow, and aussie will be the lion. If a friend comes along, we might have the wicked witch and other characters as well. Good luck!

Im going to dress up as Cat in the Hat and get red PJ’s for my dog and baby, and label them as "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" cute costume idea eh?

Im sure you will get some idea.. maybe a cat and mouse?

Cowgirl and cowboy? Bride and groom? cop and robber?
